Crews Lake Wilderness Park is one of our favorite locations for family portraits and engagement sessions — the boardwalk, open water views, and mature tree canopy create a naturally beautiful backdrop without feeling overdone. For something softer and more romantic, the botanical gardens in Spring Hill offer lush greenery and colorful surroundings that work beautifully for portraits, quinceañera sessions, and couples photography year-round.

Brooksville, FL
Just north of Spring Hill, Brooksville offers some of the most scenic backdrops in Hernando County. The rolling countryside, Spanish moss-draped oaks, and historic architecture make it one of our favorite areas for portraits, engagement sessions, and wedding day coverage.
Chinsegut Hill — with its sprawling oak canopy, open fields, and historic manor setting — creates an effortlessly elegant atmosphere for weddings and formal portrait sessions. We’ve photographed quinceañera sessions here and the grounds never disappoint. Downtown Brooksville is our go-to for a more editorial, textured look — the brick storefronts, covered walkways, and tree-lined streets give couples and families a timeless, warm backdrop that photographs beautifully in both golden hour and overcast light.

Tampa, FL
Tampa’s mix of waterfront parks, historic neighborhoods, and urban venues makes it a destination we’re always happy to travel to for weddings, family portraits, and events. The city offers an incredible range of settings — from natural and relaxed to dramatic and urban — all within a short drive of each other.
For outdoor portrait and family sessions, Lettuce Lake Park is one of Tampa’s best-kept secrets — 240 acres of boardwalks, canopy trails, and saturated Florida greenery that give portraits incredible depth. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park delivers a completely different energy: clean open space, the Hillsborough River, and the city skyline as a backdrop — ideal for couples, engagement sessions, and events. Picnic Island Park offers something for everyone — mangrove shorelines, open beach, and water on both sides, making it one of the most versatile locations in the area for golden hour sessions.

Tarpon Springs holds a special place in our work — we’ve photographed events and portrait sessions here for years, drawn by the city’s one-of-a-kind character. The combination of Greek heritage, waterfront settings, and historic architecture gives every session a distinctly rich, timeless feel you won’t find anywhere else in the Tampa Bay area.
Craig Park on Spring Bayou is one of our top picks for family portraits and engagement sessions — sparkling water, Spanish moss-draped oak trees, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that makes clients feel right at home in front of the camera. Fred Howard Park is our other go-to in Tarpon Springs — and honestly one of the most versatile locations in the entire area. The park side offers shaded oak trees and lush green backdrops perfect for family portraits and relaxed couple sessions, while the beach causeway opens up to stunning waterfront views that come alive during golden hour. Sunset sessions here are hard to beat — the warm light over the Gulf creates a natural glow that makes every portrait feel effortless.
